Working Wednesday - Why Work Anyway?

At the CPA office, nothing is going on that I can report on without violating privacy laws.  So I thought I'd share reasons I've come up with why one would get up and go to work in the first place:

• providing a needed service to others
• a stewardship to create profitability for my business
• a conduit of providing support for my family
• an opportunity to support worthy causes financially
• an example of responsibility and diligence
• access to the culture as an ambassador for Christ

Weather this week is bringing sunshine and highs in the 70s for the first time this season.  Perhaps a reminder of the basics of "why work?" will help the cause, or at least fight the temptation to play hooky.  As if a full in basket of tax returns isn't motivation enough...
