When Career Isn't All It's Cracked Up To Be

This is when climbing the corporate ladder isn't all that:
Monday:  Lightning creates a power surge, fries my computer at the office.  Fortunately, data is stored on the network.
Tuesday:  Lightning strikes a strip mall, destroying local businesses, including one of my clients.  Firefighters can't fight the blaze because lightning could strike them (such as when on a ladder).
More than anything, I suppose, is respect the lightning.

  1. Yes, respect the lightening! That's why I have no problem canceling a camping trip when we know it is going to storm. :-)
