Saturday Day Off Errands

Saving money by not being an early adapter.

Somebody's got to do the heavy lifting...

As a CPA, Saturdays in February are usually work days.  With two months until the April 17 filing deadline, there's not a day to lose!  But because investment firms don't have to send out year end forms to their clients until February 15, my co-workers and I caught up in our tax work.  So I'm out of the office and at home today.

What better way to spend a Saturday than spending money!

On the other hand, we don't have cable or satellite TV.  We have Netflix, a digital channel converter, and now Blu-ray!  Costco has them for $120.  And to think the original Betamax VCRs were over $1000!  Patience...and now our Roku box has moved to the upstairs TV.

It's not all fun and games, though.  Gotta keep the water softener fed.
